Impure but Pure
Sometimes it is not only purity that qualify, impurity is also required.
They ignored each other for ages,
Coz once again they were on their rages.
No call, no text;
Still she knew what he’ll do next.
It’s not pure enough…
Hence, making their hearts tough.
But it is not impure either,
That anyone of them is a deceiver.
Attributed they were of Tom & Jerry;
Though they rejected to accept any.
Coz it’s not pure enough to melt their hearts away,
But not impure enough to disrespect each other’s dismay.
Disdaining each other was their hobby,
And they loved to make each other sloppy.
They didn’t love one another,
One’s dejection didn’t upset the other.
Neither did they hate each other,
One’s blackmailing dialogue was enough for the other.
Huge walls of ego laid between them,
Though the walls were infirm to be honest.
Asking for help never supported by ‘please’,
It came in the form of an order with an ease.
‘Thank you’ was the rare dialogue,
All that prevailed was her monologue.
Monologue…
Beep says the phone again,
They curl their lips once again.
